Rally4Racquets is proud to partner with the New Canaan Field Club, a community-centered club with a long-standing tradition of excellence in tennis and racquet sports. This partnership reflects our shared vision of growing the game by ensuring that every child has the opportunity to pick up a racquet and experience the joy of tennis.
As part of the collaboration, the New Canaan Field Club will host a racquet donation bin, inviting members and families to donate gently used racquets. These racquets, once refurbished by Rally4Racquets, will be placed directly into the hands of young athletes throughout New England who face financial barriers to entry. For many of these children, receiving a racquet represents not just an introduction to a sport, but also to a community and a set of values that tennis instills—perseverance, focus, and teamwork.
Bernard Schoeman, Director of Racquets at the New Canaan Field Club, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative:
“Tennis is a sport that teaches lessons well beyond the court, and at the Field Club we are passionate about sharing those lessons with the next generation. Partnering with Rally4Racquets allows our members to directly contribute to that mission and to make a lasting difference in the lives of kids who might not otherwise have access to the game.”
This collaboration underscores the power of community-based clubs to lead meaningful change. By bringing together the generosity of members and the mission of Rally4Racquets, the New Canaan Field Club helps expand the reach of the sport and reinforces the values of service, inclusivity, and growth.
To date, Rally4Racquets has donated more than 2,250 racquets and partnered with over 100 clubs across New England. With the support of the New Canaan Field Club, we continue to grow this network and inspire young players to pick up a racquet, step onto the court, and discover their potential.
